Lodging Recommendations

We know that many of our friends and family will be traveling from out of state. While we are not booking a block of rooms, bellow are some recommendations for lodging in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island.

Transportation

  • September is one of the best months to visit New York City. The weather is still warm but prices are usually more affordable than during the holidays!

The best time to buy flights is no later than three months before your travel date.

    NYC has 3 airports:

    • Newark is the closest airport to the venue, only 20 minutes away by car.

    • JFK is 35 min away

    • LGA is 40 min away

Public transportation from the airport is not fun or efficient. We recommend you take a car from the airport to your lodging or to the venue if you plan to come to the wedding straight from your flight.

  • By car:

    • From Brooklyn via I - 278 West: Follow I-278 W to Narrows Rd N in Staten Island. Take exit 13 A from I-278 W for Clove Rd. Turn left onto Park Dr. Enter the park and follow the signs for the parking lot.

    • From New Jersey: Take I-95 to I-278 East. Take exit 13 A from I-278 W for Clove Rd. Turn left onto Park Dr. Enter the park and follow the signs for the parking lot.

    By public transportation:

    • Take the Staten Island Ferry from the Whitehall Terminal to the St. George Ferry Terminal. Exit the terminal and walk to S61 Bus Stop at Bay St/Nick Laporte Pl. Exit the bus at the Victory Blvd/Clover Rd. stop. Enter the park and walk along the lake to reach the Stone House.

    • Uber and Lyft are available throughout Staten Island.
